SET DESIGN
In school, I discovered the art of set design and began working more and more within that realm. My passion for supporting and creating the vision and atmosphere for a show is seen through my work as a set designer.
As a designer, I tend to explore out of the box designs that can highlight the message of the show or provide an interesting visual contrast to the message or acting styles. I enjoy working with the director to help attain their vision as well as challenge initial design choices to help develop a more rounded concept. I believe in the collaboration between the set and lighting design as both are necessary pieces to the overall outcome of the show.

Collaborations and Apprenticeships
I apprenticed under John Doucet on multiple occasions starting in 2019 on the show 7 Stories from The Drama Guild, presented in the University of Ottawa Academic Hall. I also had the privilege of working along side John Doucet and Marie-Pière Proulx for the production of ODE: ou la vie après avoir regarder Le soleil dans le blanc des yeux as their apprentice under Théâtre action.
Additionally, I worked on smaller elements of the set and props design for the VOX théâtre show La fuite de l'hippocampe in 2023.
Below you will see both my collaborative work as an apprentice and my independent work as a set designer.
